GMCF’s 2017 Grow Green Match Day Shatters Last Year’s Record High

MANHATTAN, KS – April 21, 2017 – Manhattan area donors dug deep and gave generously in supporting the causes they care about during the annual Grow Green Match Day hosted by the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation.  Donations could be made in person at Colony Square in Manhattan or online via GMCF’s match day website (www.growgreenmanhattan.com).  More donors than ever before turned out to make this the most successful Grow Green Match Day to date.  This year’s total of $422,616.99 (before the 50% match) shattered last year’s record high of $289,174.78.  After $189,525.79 in matching funds were added, the 2017 total was $612,142.78!
